A protective agent represents the vessel owner's or manager's interests during port calls handled commercially by a charterer's agent. We act as the owner's independent eyes and ears: verifying port documentation, reviewing disbursement accounts, monitoring loading and discharging operations, and ensuring charterer-nominated services meet the standards required by the charter party.
